O’Reilly Publishing
AADUG members can receive free books from O’Reilly in exchange for posting a review of that book on either Amazon.com or the O’Reilly site.  There is no limit of books, limit one book at a time. Read the book, review it, request another.

TechNet
Our TechNet Subscription is now available to all AADUG users.  This is a collection of all MS server software and can be used for testing, training etc, in a NON-PRODUCTION environment.  Again, it is a violation of the license to use this in production.  Here is how to get the ISO files and license key:

 

1.    Email Mel Backus and request an account on the download site, http://aadug.byers.com.  In the subject line, enter “AADUG Account Request”

2.    Email Joel Kilthau and request the title(s) you want. The list of titles is available here. Joel will upload the ISO, notify you when it is ready and provide you with a license key.

Only AADUG members are allowed to download this software. Joel has a list of current members.

 

LinkedIN
Join the "Atlanta Active Directory User Group" on LinkedIN.  Members are invited to join and participate as this is a great resource and a good way to keep in touch.
 

We encourage everyone to use this as a resource to share info the User Group will be interested in (web sites, docs (public), products, tools, etc.)

To logon to the sharepoint site:

  1. AADUG Members my request a login to the AADUG sharepoint site using the contact form.
  2. Once your personal account is created you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing instructions for registering and changing your password.
  3. Once your password has been set you can logon at: https://ug.gitca.org/sites/AADUG/default.aspx
